We gives thumbs up or down to everything we saw this weekend, from the Manchester derby to Christian Pulisic's accidental goal to the LA Galaxy's determination to get the ball to Zlatan.

On today's show, we answer five listener questions:
1) Does Zlatan fly coach, per MLS rules?
2) Why do some commentators call it the "Mexican Wave" and where did that name come from in the first place?
3) What exactly has USSF President Carlos Cordeiro done since the election to improve US soccer?
4) How to win at Subbuteo? (more specifically, how to annihilate Tom Dunmore)
5) How much of a national team's success is reliant upon where the players play their club ball? Does having a core group from one club help with chemistry?
Daryl and Taylor break down the semifinal first legs of the CONCACAF Champions League: how Toronto got it right and the Red Bulls (looking in your direction, Tyler Adams) did the opposite of that. We review all the goals, cards, and controversial refereeing decisions... and say the word "undergarments" more times in one show than we ever thought possible.
30:17 - After that, we discuss Grant Wahl's news that the USMNT has been invited to participate in the 2019 Copa America. Should they go? Who might go? What undergarments will they wear? At least two of those questions will be answered.

Daryl and Taylor spend a solid 20+ minutes reviewing El Trafico in more detail than just saying, "Zlatan is incredible" over and over again. How did LAFC jump out to that early lead, what did Sigi Schmid do to get the game back under control, and (of course) how incredible was Zlatan's MLS opener?
After that, we take a look at the Premier League (with specific attention on Tottenham's victory at Stamford Bridge and Liverpool's dramatic win over Crystal Palace). We also attempt to figure out how Bayern Munich were able to make the third best team in the Bundesliga look like the worst team in the bottom German division.
And, as ever, we close with the TSS Scouting Network!

Daryl talks to Zack Goldman, co-founder Common Goal and Where Is Football. Zack is an expert in how teams and brands can connect to fans in an authentic way. He's also an LA Galaxy fan, so we talk El Trafico, Zlatan in MLS, the England national team, and how US Soccer could do a better job communicating with supporters.

With Daryl out of the office, Taylor called up Yahoo Sports' Henry Bushnell to discuss the USA's 1-0 victory over Paraguay. We take a look at which individuals (including Dave Sarachan) helped/hurt their stock, as well as the inherent attacking problems in that 4-1-4-1 formation.
Henry's 5 quick takeaways from the USA-Paraguay match can be found here: https://sports.yahoo.com/five-takeaways-usmnts-win-paraguay-014614459.html
After that, Taylor picked Henry's brain about an absurd number of games from the international window: are Spain now the favorites to win the World Cup, should Belgium/Argentina/France be worried, and are Brazil better without Neymar? The answer to that one is pretty emphatically No. Anyway, all that and much, much more!
Henry's comprehensive review of the international break can be found here: https://sports.yahoo.com/world-cup-touchline-32-march-friendly-takeaways-165910169.html

Daryl and Taylor offer a long review of a young USMNT's 1-0 win over Paraguay. Are we seeing the long-requested "American style of play" finally emerge? And is that what we actually want from the national team?
At 49:52, we also talk a little England v Italy. The Three Lions didn't win, but we think we hear the beginnings of some sort of roar. Or, at the very least, a purr.

We take a look at the USA's Tuesday night friendly against Paraguay by first briefly discussing Paraguay before moving on to our preferred starting elevens for the USMNT. We also get into why this game matters, who might get their first CAP(s), and what Dave Sarachan's approach might be.
After that, we take some time breaking down England's 1-0 victory over the Netherlands. Has Gareth Southgate got the players believing in his system? Is that belief more important than individual talent? And how many more shows will it be before Daryl starts thinking that this could be England's year? All that and more... plus scouting!
