At the age of 14 my father bought me 1/2 of a Radio Shack Started my career in The Washington DC area working for a software company and then worked for TRW which had me on IT projects for the CIA.  That is all I can say about that  Started working for Amdahl which was a computer mainframe company that directly competed with IBM.  After 12 years I got involved wih Microsoft and three years later I met my soon to be wife and we moved up to Boston where I was working for a DOT.COM company as a consultant.  

DOT.COM collapse and the company folded we moved down to Houston to be close to my parents.  I wrote a software program for the company that my wife was employed with and then in 2004 I started my own franchise w/ Geeks on Call fixing computers primarely for residential customers.  My daughter Zoe was born in 2005 and after 4 years I left the franchise and started my own business so I could concentrate more on the Small Business customers where there is more money to be made.  Had a stroke back in 2010 and now I'm letting the guys take care of the IT work and I'm concentrating on marketing my business and getting the work out.

Alexander Devereux overcame epilepsy at birth, dyslexia, and poverty to graduate from college and become a highly successful professional. An ordained minister, he works in the administrative field of higher education. Devereux is at work on his second book, a follow-up to Gar Fish and Long Gravy. He lives in Atlanta.

 

David was ordained in 1987 and has over 24 years of experience in ministry. He served his first 10 years with Evangelist Tim Lee (a retired U.S. Marine and double amputee from the Vietnam War). David traveled the country assisting in producing area-wide crusades and Patriotic Rallies, later managing the national ministry which included editing of a Christian newspaper and producing a daily radio broadcast.

Michael Friedlander is an international attorney and former CEo of an international music company and CEO of international architectural design firm.

Marvin D. Wilson has a widely varied and rich life experience background - from Hippie Rock and Roll musician, to nightclub entertainer, to Zen Buddhist minister, to carpenter, to small business owner, to network marketer, to sales and sales training, to skilled trades instructor and adult education teacher, to public speaker and motivational coach, to now in his chosen “golden years” career, a writer and multi-published author with the self-proclaimed, “audacity to write novels”.

H.T. Narea, an international investment banker, has focused his career on global emerging

markets. During his 20+ years of experience, including his positions as a managing director and

principal at JPMorgan Chase in New York, he has advised governments, companies and banks

in countries around the world on debt restructurings, infrastructure projects, M&A, private

equity, debt trading and syndicated finance.
