My name is Adri Thompson. I am CEO/Founder of Open Armz of Hope a non profit organization 501(c)(3). We help single mothers in need.Which is based around somethings I went through as a single mother and decided to reach out to other mothers in the same or worse situations. I want the clients to know that I am not someone who is standing outside the box looking in , but someone who has been in the box and shared their cry and their tears. I want to be part of the solution and not the promblem. We are ran solely on fundraiser, donations and I come out of pocket when needed. We also teach teen mothers independent skills to help them be better prepared for living independent with child when the time comes. Through one on one consulting, community outreach initiatives, and fundraising we are contributing to the solution to one of the community's oldest issues. We know many clients can not afford transportation, so we drive to clients home. Our services take place in clients homes. Our mission is to make a positive impact on single mothers, their families and their communities by showing emotional support and providing assistance and services to build stronger family homes in their time of need. Our services are social service, case management, community resources, job seeking and independent living skills. We also provide clothing, household goods, hygiene products, and baby items when needed for families. Open Armz of Hope is not only helping our clients but is helping me grow as a better person.
