Town Meeting, a Gilmore Girls Rewatch Podcast

Created by Emily, Lisa, and Sandra

This week, we discuss Gran's unexpected death, Richard's behavior and Emily's smoking. Also in this episode: a surprising amount of cursing, stumbling over names and trying to decipher a heavy topic in a light-hearted way.

Regardless if they're shrinking or sinking, the fact of the matter is that the Lorelais are having a horrible day. Join us as we discuss dropping classes, panic attacks, and of course, wet hair. Also in this episode: some frank discussions about college life and the stress that it brought us.

Welcome to the bits! With thankfully no missing audio this week. Emily somehow both fails and passes the summary. Content warning, Sandra's references do talk about suicide and addiction (Sylvia Plath, Francis Farmer, Robert Downey Jr, this content ends safely around the 8:15 mark). Emily talks about a 2003 Jess book, and Lisa gives us the skinny on the Renaissance Faire. Join us this week!

"Families. I mean, they're just messes. It's like this - spilled drink that just keeps spilling, and ya gotta keep cleaning it up..."

It's our introduction to Liz (although we're not sure it's the same Liz we've been hearing about) AND the return of Jess!
