The Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) is a science fiction anthology film directed by Steven Spielberg, John Landis, Joe Dante, and George Miller. The film is based on the classic TV series "The Twilight Zone" created by Rod Serling.

The film's first segment, "Time Out," directed by John Landis, ended in tragedy. The incident led to a high-profile lawsuit and changes in film industry regulations regarding on-set safety and the use of child actors.
