More amazing advice from coach and physio Tim Pigott from HP3 Coaching fresh from his 10th place at Ultra Trail Snowdonia (UTS) 100k, including the best way to stay cool and hydrated while running in hot weather (like we had on race day), how to be more efficient in aid stations, how to be tactical to avoid bottlenecks and queues, how to prepare a pre-race plan with enough food, drink and with timings to beat the cut offs comfortably, why you should be looking at more than just your choice of shoe (socks and insoles also make a massive difference), how to keep going when everything hurts or you have a low point, and how to recover from a big race.
