Welcome to the Going Deeper Podcast! For those who’ve been following me for a while, you know I started podcasting five years ago, in 2019 and took a break at the beginning of 2023. It’s been almost 18 months since I’ve been behind the mic, and I am so glad to be back. As you can tell, we’ve done a little podcast rebrand and refresh since then!

So what is “Going Deeper” all about?

On this podcast, we will challenge the cultural status quo and societal norms that keep us from living a deep life of faith. We will discuss topics all across the spiritual-secular spectrum, from social media, hustle culture, individualism, and body image to fasting, scripture memory, church, and spiritual disciplines, all from a Christ-centered, gospel-focused perspective.

The constant stimulation and have-it-all mentality of modern culture can feel like a heavy, unshakeable burden. How do we wholeheartedly follow Jesus in such a warped and weary world?

I want you to leave each episode feeling refreshed and encouraged to go deeper in your relationship with God despite the ever-present obstacles getting in your way.

Here are some things you can expect from this podcast:

1. We will have cultural conversations from a Christ-centered perspective.
2. We will run in 12-week seasons. So, season 1 starts now and ends right before my due date in October!
3. Each episode will be between 30-45 minutes long and will be both solo and interview-style.

Just a little bit about me: I’m married to my youth group sweetheart, and I’m a mom of almost three. When I’m not having spiritual conversations with mom friends over chaotic toddler playdates or making tacos for my family of four, you’ll find me writing and episode scripting, discussing books over dinner at Panera with friends, and leading a Women’s Bible Study at my local church.
