We are so grateful to have a friend like Mx. Becker Grumet. They are a non-binary trans-masculine person fighting for Black Lives Matter, Black Trans Lives Matter, and advocating for the LGBTQIAP communities, all while writing & producing hilarious Musicals such as the acclaimed “Weed Shop”. As you’ll hear on this episode, we met Becker when they went by their birth name and had long hair. It was an honor to get to interview them on the ins and outs of top surgery, hormone therapy, decisions like chopping their hair off and saying, “Ta ta!” to their ta-ta’s. Life can’t be broken down into 1’s and 0’s, so it’s only fitting that people are non-binary as well; it’s all a spectrum. As three privileged white people having this conversation our hope is that we can inspire other white folks to have the difficult conversations with their loved ones on race, voting, and the importance of activism in 2020 and beyond. We end with a card pull on the blossoming of a new world!
