Kate Nevin is a financial consultant in New York, but when she came to Charleston, SC and married, she saw how development was changing neighborhoods, pushing out those who couldn't afford the newly hiked rents.  She decided to help keep the neighborhoods together by bringing in outsiders to events and activities where they interacted with the locals.  She did it by having very unusual events which you will hear.

At 4, Syaniya-Simone asked her mother to help her set up a lemonade stand.  A few years later she asked for help to write her first cookbook.  Now at 13, Saniya has a jewelry company, a clothing company.  She gives workshops for young women of color and gives talks to adults.  She is working on her next book and has traveled all over the world.  Prepare to be amazed!
