The Transformers are back, with a new creative team and an all-star voice cast. Patrick Scott Patterson returns to discuss whether or not the film can live up to the legacy of the 40-year-old franchise.

Transformers One is directed by Josh Cooley, and written by Eric Pearson, Andrew Barrer, and Gabriel Ferrari. Starring Chris Hemsworth as Orion Pax (Optimus Prime), Brian Tyree Henry as D-16 (Megatron), Scarlett Johansson, Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm.
