In this episode I share with you the words of the beloved Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk and one of the world’s most influential Zen masters.
As you may know he passed on recently at the age of 95. In this life he was a prolific author, poet, teacher and peace activist, was exiled from Vietnam after opposing the war in the 1960s.
In his book Fear: Essential Wisdom for Getting Through the Storm he shows us that with the practice of mindfulness we can learn to identify the sources of pain that cause us fear and move past them to live a mindful and happy life.
Like countless others his work has had a tremendous influence on my life and this book is one of my favorites. I'll share one particular section that really speaks to me as a highly sensitive person.
I hope you enjoy and find wisdom in his words and reach out to let me know your thoughts. ♥
