Ever since creation God is all about doing something new and for a particular reason. This Sunday in worship we focus our attention on what that reason is.

We talk about "going to church" the same way we talk about "going to the store" or "going to the movies." We think of the church as a place we visit—and leave—rather than a reality that we live every day. This Sunday we gain a new perspective on what the church is all about and what it means to be a part of an alive and growing church.

Is this really how God sees our lives; that most of the time we spend living doesn’t really matter to Him? This Sunday we find out just how much He does care about us; not only as we worship and serve Him through the church but also through the entire 168 hours we have each week in which to live.

Have you ever heard of the phrase, “Church Fight” used before? In fact, Satan uses church fights to turn people away from the gospel. Those who don’t know Christ as Savior are kept from hearing the good news of Jesus Christ and about the love and grace He wants to give. But what do you think if I tell you that a fighting church is a sign that a church is alive and well and filled with the Holy Spirit?
