Jackson and Gilly are back for the first episode of Squash University of 2025, with one of the most talented players in college squash.
The gents open things up by recapping their New Year celebrations and discuss Gustav Detter's first day as Penn's new assistant coach, the fluidity of the CSA challenge match system, and Gilly shares his recruiting tip of the week (0:16).
Trinity senior captain Jana Safy helped lead her team to their first women’s National Championship in 10 years in 2024. In 2025, she's vying for a second straight Team National Championship for Trinity come March and her first Individual title later this month.
Jana joins Jackson to talk about the Bantams getting over the hump last season, Trinity Head Coach Wendy Bartlett retiring after 40 years, almost committing to George Washington out of high school, how she ended up at Trinity, this year’s Individuals, skydiving, and more (42:48).
Huge thanks to Jana for joining us, huge thanks to you for listening along, and, as always, enjoy!
