Sir, yes, sir! Over the next few weeks we will be looking at films covering the Vietnam war. Granted, its not great fodder for a light hearted movie podcast, but we got to watch three great films then talk about the three grim realities of them. First off is the classic FULL METAL JACKET,.
So pull up get snug in a fox hole and listen to Jeff and Colin discuss the movie, as well as make obscure references to two snookerballs and a sock and going dark like Chase Edmunds.
There is also a bit in this where Colin references "Of Mice and Men," but Jeff hasn't read it so he just goes "um" and moves on. If you spot it, note the timecode and tweet it at us.

concept sci-fi mind-f**k that contorts ideas of reality and identity; the young and naive small-town musician who is thrown into the deep-end world of money, high fashion and fame; and the brooding anti-hero whose methods test the bounds of an audiences acceptance; to the grizzled cop that will work the case no matter what their superiors say; the time-loops that allow our protagonist years’ worth of personal growth in day; and those films where Liam Neeson just f**kin’ punches shit in the face.
