In today’s LSU Football Fall Camp report, we break down a physical day of practice that featured two full 11-on-11 scrimmage periods where the defensive front dominated, consistently pressuring quarterbacks and disrupting the rhythm of the offense. However, in a twist, the offensive line held their own in 1-on-1 drills, showing flashes of growth and toughness.

Garrett Nussmeier continued his sharp camp performance, going 11-for-12 during 7-on-7 work and looking in full command of the offense. But the special teams woes persist as kicker Damian Ramos once again struggled with field goal accuracy — a concern as we inch closer to Week 1.

We also note the absence of two key starters: wide receiver Aaron Anderson and linebacker Whit Weeks, who were not present during today’s session. We discuss what their absences could mean and update their statuses as available.
