Sample of what to say: I am calling on behalf of Jelani Day. We demand that the Jelani Day joint task force thoroughly investigate the disappearance and death of Jelani Day. We demand a public apology from the chief of police from Bloomington, Peru, and La Salle city for not effectively working together in finding key elements in the disappearance and death of Jelani Day. Jelani Day was a 25-year-old man with limitless potential. Our world lost an incredible person, and we demand justice. Take accountability for the actions that you did not take to help find what happened to Jelani Day.

In 2020. 11-year-old Gannon Stauch was last seen leaving home with his stepmother Letecia before he went missing – he was seen on security cameras returning home without him. Letecia then proceeded to lie about what happened to friends, family, and the news, while also taking a victimizing stance.

Oakley Carlson was only five years old when she went missing while under the care of her biological parents. Originally placed with a foster family, Oakley was a happy, loving, and friendly baby. But after she was placed back with her abusive parents, she started allegedly acting out, and looking physically unwell in photos. Her foster parents were fighting government services every step of the way to get her some help, but after multiple failings from DCYF and CPS, Oakley disappeared.

NOTE* The community has raised $86,000. Jamie Jo created the GoFundMe for viewers that aren’t local to them to be able to help them get to their goal of $100,000. This is why the GFM shows little funds raised so far and a goal of only $14k.

In 1999, Belinda Temple, an 8-month pregnant mother with one young child already, was shot dead in her home. The scene was staged to look like a burglary, and it was all because her husband wanted to get rid of her and be with his mistress, no matter the cost.
