A high school classmate of mine was in a relationship with a guy from a rural area in a certain province. The man went to her school to see her, but he didn’t have a penny to his name and asked her for travel expenses, and then hit her up for a few bucks to buy snacks. But his whole family disliked her for being a trade school student and not worthy of a man who goes to a top-tiered school. Then one day this guy suddenly told my classmate that he wanted to get married. She was thrilled. Later it turned out that his father had cancer and needed someone to take care of him, so this guy had thought of her, his total doormat. And you won’t believe this, but she really went there. After half a year of taking care of his father, this man still didn't marry her.
