U.S. President Donald Trump announces a baseline 10 per cent tariff on almost every country. Canada is largely exempt from today’s tariffs because of the free trade deal. But there are still the 25 per cent tariffs previously announced. Prime Minister Carney said Canada will fight today’s tariffs with countermeasures.
