This week we are joined by Michael Petrella, Mike Perilli, and Mike Marzanek, as they discuss in detail their attempts to recreate the legendary Colorado Experiment. The Colorado Experiment was a bodybuilding experiment featuring Casey Viator and run by Arthur Jones using Nautilus equipment at Colorado State University in May, 1973.
The first subject, Casey Viator gained as much as 63 pounds of muscle in 28 days and the second, Arthur Jones, gained 15 pounds in 22 days. It is of interest due to its claims that incredible results can be achieved with a small number of sessions (only 14 workouts) and using single sets of high intensity repetitions to momentary muscle failure focusing primarily on negative or lowering multi-joint exercises.
Our guest this week is Dr. Andrew Oswari M.D. Join us as he shares how he found the low-carb way of eating and in the process lost 60 pounds and reversed type 2 diabetes.
Along the way he also eliminated chronic knee pain, brain fog, headaches, irritable bowel, reflux, hypertension and irritability, all through changing the way he ate.
Dr. Oswari says, "I am sick of seeing sick people who are following the traditional recommendations that are not working for this country. My passion is now to make the world healthier one person at a time."
This week we dive deep into Strength Training Program design.
Join us as we discuss how to manipulate program variables such as Full-Body vs Split routines, exercise volume, training frequency, sets, reps, and adding Advance Overload Techniques.
How to not get stuck in the Gregorian Calendar. Ways to maximize recovery. We'll also discuss intensity variation such as training to momentary muscular failure and even not to failure training.

This week T.N.T. Strength brings you our first responders episode. Strength, conditioning, and nutrition, as well as stress prevention and management are critical for first responders to stay strong, healthy, and safe.
We're thrilled to be joined by full-time firefighter Jason Klofstad and full-time police officer Pete Almeida as we discuss strategies and tactics for staying fit and ready for the critical services they provide.
In keeping with our safe and efficient approach to strength and conditioning, we discuss some simple innovative fitness and nutrition solutions for Police, Firefighters and other first responders.
In this episode we are joined by Iliana Stoilova, co-founder of X-Force Body in south Tampa, Florida. We learn why X-Force is scientifically proven to be one of the fastest, most efficient, fat loss and muscle gain programs in the world.
We discuss the unique X-Force Body machines and their patented "tilting" weight stack which allows for a 40% heavier resistance on the "negative" or lowering part of the exercise.
Learn how heavier negative resistance greatly increases the intensity of muscle exertion during each repetition, which translates into significant strength gains and fat loss in less time!
This week our guest is Brian Murray, M.Ed. - Exercise Physiologist - Director of Clinical Research for ViiV Fitness. Join us as we discuss how a motionless total-body maximum intensity strength training workout stimulates new muscle and bone growth and can be completed in under 5 minutes.
With a motionless protocol, you can stimulate strength and size increases that are at least equal to those obtainable with full-range training, and since muscle building is the goal, if it can occur with the least amount of wear and tear possible, this is a desirable option.
"Motionless Strength Training is where everyone is going, they just don't know it yet."
In this episode we are joined in the basement by Luke Carlson. Luke is CEO and founder of Discover Strength, a successful evidence-based training organization specializing in personalized strength training for busy professionals.
