The challenge is not unique to publishing in biblical studies and theology but in other disciplines as well. Zondervan has made great strides in publishing quality academic books with women as authors and editors. Still, Covrett argues, it will take strategic cooperation between institutions of higher learning and publishers to move toward balance.
