Tune In Tomorrow

Long before there was a Victor Newman, before there were Abbotts or even a Genoa City, there was Bill Bell. Along with wife Lee, he created the lovers, dreamers and schemers who whose romances and rivalries would make THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS must-see TV for millions of Americans. Tonight, join host Richard M. Simms as he chats with Michael Maloney, author of the newly-released book The Young And Restless Life Of William J. Bell. What did Bell learn from his mentor, Irna Phillips? And what could today's scribes learn from Bell? The author gives us a glimpse into the world of the man who changed the face of daytime forever!

GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sam had her baby, DAYS OF OUR LIVES’ Stefano took a bullet, THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL’s Bill hatched a nasty plot and THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS... well, it was sort of a hot mess. Without the hot. Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms in looking back at the merry month of May and how the soaps approached the all-important period known as sweeps. What worked? What didn’t? Call and share your opinion on the month’s biggest stories… and where they need to go next!

Last week, the major networks finalized their fall schedules and released information on which pilots have made it onto their slates. Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms and his guest, Daniel Malen of thetvaddict.com, as they prove you don't actually have to see a show to judge it! Having waded through tons of press material and watched the trailers, the pair predict which shows will be hits... and which will be gone faster than a Boston Cream Pie left in Richard’s protective custody.

Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms as we talk all things sudsy (from Emmy snubs to Y&R’s Shictor)... and prepare to prove that anything they can do, you can do better! Let’s face it: At one point or another, we’ve all declared that we could write more compelling story than what we see on our screens. So tonight, you'll have two minutes (and yes, you'll be timed!) to prove it! Pitch us a story for your favorite soap. Maybe you have an idea how to get GENERAL HOSPITAL’s Sam and Jason back their loving feeling, or a fantastic plot that would unite the entire DAYS OF OUR LIVES canvas under one big umbrella. Whatever it is, tonight's the night to pitch it. Then, later this week, I’ll post a summary of each person’s ideas... and we'll put it up to a vote! Then, next week, we'll announce the winner. The prize? Why, bragging rights, of course! Remember, you'll have two minutes -- no more! -- to sell your story, so come with notes and prepare to dazzle us! All tonight on Tune In Tomorrow!

As GENERAL HOSPITAL's Dr. Ewen Keenan deals with that nasty knock to the noggin he got from cracy Connie, we settle in for a chat with Nathin Butler, the Aussie who plays the sexy doc. What's it like being the new kid on a 49-year-old block? Where can you hear him jam with his band? And wait until you hear the fantastic story that brought an adorable puppy into his life! Then, host Richard M. Simms will be taking your calls to talk all things soaps. All this and more beginning at 7 p.m. ET!

Under former GENERAL HOSPITAL headwriter Bob Guza, Jason and Liz rarely crossed paths. But with Jason and Sam's marriage taking some major hits over the past few weeks and a new scribe controling their destinies, could a Liason reunion be in the works? Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms as he previews what the future has in store for the trio in May... and how it might impact the developing romance of Ewen and Liz.

Between the father of Sam's baby on GENERAL HOSPITAL, the Liam and Hope take-over of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL, the huge changes at DAYS OF OUR LIVES and... well, just about everything at THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS, there's a whole lot of people walking around upset with their favorite soaps! Tonight, Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms plays therapist as he invites you to lie down on his couch (well, okay, yours!) and vent. Plus, we'll talk about why some of the controversial decisions were made (yes, I'm looking at you, Franco!), what the future will hold and more!

Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms as he welcomes Daniel Malen, creator of TheTVAddict.com for a discussing of primetime's hottest shows... including a look at what pilots we're most hoping to see make it onto our screens this fall!

This week, Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms asks whether you want to roll out the welcome wagon for the ONE LIFE TO LIVE cast members who've come over to GENERAL HOSPITAL... or roll said wagon over them? There’s heated debate among soapsters as to whether Blair, Todd and Starr (not to mention the soon-to-arrive John) are helping make GH a better show... or turning it into a shadow of its former self. Tonight, call in with your thoughts on that topic... or any other sudsy drama you feel like discussing! It all begins Monday night at 7 p.m.!

Tonight, join Soaps In Depth executive editor Richard M. Simms as he takes on one of the biggest problems facing soaps today: the enemy within our very ranks. Plus, we continue our evaluation of GENERAL HOSPITAL under new scribe Ron Carlivati, ask what the heck we're supposed to make of THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS' Sharon, offer the virginity of THE BOLD & THE BEAUTIFUL's Hope to the gods of soap opera volcanos and ask DAYS OF OUR LIVES to please buy a return trip from Alamania. All tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. ET!
