The Rams are officially in the playoffs and are division champions!  But before we get into that we discuss the news.  Also, I am playing a prank on my dad who thinks that Damarco Farr and MJD will be guests on the podcast next week.  This is a test to see if he actually pays attention to the show...

Pro Bowl announcements are our and the Rams have one representative.  We talk about that and if there are any other snubs on the team.

Torri Holt is once against a finalist for the HOF.  I am saying he will never get in.

We talk about the Rams strategy against Seattle this week.  Who should play, who should rest.  with the only thing on the line this weekend is seeding.

Then we talk about who we want to see in the first round and why.

Welcome back to another episode of Turn Your Head and Goff!

This week we cover many topics.  Including our holiday plans and how to make the perfect mashed potatoes, all in an effort not to start talking about the Rams performance against the Dolphins.

In the news, Rams cut a player, Tyler Higbee is just "weeks" away from returning, Stan has decided to start a "Go Green" competition with all of the sports teams he owns and finally Rams fan of the year is announced, we are not impressed and give him no credit.

TTT thinks the division is lost already, even thought the Rams are only 1.5 games behind.

We then break down the big blunder on Monday Night Football against the Dolphins.  Basically we spent about 40 minutes just destroying the offense and ask a few critical questions:

Why would you start three new offensive linemen in the same game?
Why would coach say after the game that the offensive line needs the most consistency, yet he made the call to change 60% of the line.
Why do the Rams pass so much?
Why do the Rams not run the ball enough?
Why can the Rams not score in the red zone?

You know all the things that have been bubbling up during this season as the Rams have scored 30 or more points only once thus far.  

The defense played good.  

We then change focus to the Patriots on Sunday in what is now a must win game for the Rams.

We are back after an off week to talk about the latest in the news.  To which there was not a lot of it.

We discuss the NFC West and how this is shaping up perfectly for the Rams to win.

A discussion of the Green Bay game, another winnable game that the Rams do not win.  They looked good then they got too cute.

We then give our good and bad of the team so far and what needs to happen in order for them to make the playoffs.  

Was the Free Agent strategy the right one now that there are five games into the season?  What about the rookies, have they put too much emphasis on Undrafted Free Agents?  Is the defensive line good?

Thankfully the Rams come out of the bye and play the Raiders.

We talk about the news, which is mainly injury related.  Matthew Stafford is not in the top 10 all time in passing.  Power Ranking liberties are at it again.  We don't think the people behind the Rams website can do math.

We move on to the game against the Bears and are forced to talk about a fairly painful to watch loss.

Onwards and upwards to the next game against Green Bay.  The Rams need this on going into the bye week, which can't come soon enough.

This week there is not a lot of news to talk about which is a good thing.  Primarily since most of the news has been injury related the first two weeks.  We try to talk about one of the greatest accomplishments in sports, Ohtani's 50/50 season, however giants fan wants nothing to do with this at all.

A division look seems to be proving a point that was made before the season started.

We discuss the game against San Francisco that the Rams won.  We talk about some lingering concerns we have with this team.  Then dive into all of the things that went right.  From changing formations.  Players having big days.  A little sprinkle of luck.  Matthew Stafford forgetting that he is human for about 3 hours and delivering a masterclass.

We discuss the upcoming game against the Bears, will this be a trap game for the Rams?
