Today on Two Brothers One Mic we talk about a couple of the unsung heroes when it comes to our bodies... The calf muscles. Sure, if you're someone who strives to increase your gastroc's size, maybe they're not "unsung" at all! But let's face it, most look for trimmer waistlines and larger biceps when we hit the gym. But who knew that the proportional sizes of your calves to arms can make all the difference on how you view your body! More importantly, how others may see it! I know, I know, other's opinions shouldn't matter. Sure. Until you're the guy considering what shirt looks best on his arms or the gal choosing the dress which seemingly shaves inches off her thighs! We care, plain and simple! So give today's episode a listen and perhaps walk away knowing you look just as good leaving the room as you do walking in! (yeah I know that phrase is reserved for a different "area" of the body.... but calves are back there too!) That's today on TBOM.

In today's episode we talk about how muscles interact with each other to create a push-pull effect in order to control a specific action. Ok, it's a mouthful and we get it. Simply put, why we need to know which muscles interact with the ones we're building so as not to overtrain and risk injury. A good example here would be Bicep and Tricep muscles. One extends while the other contracts. That's as complicated as we get in today's episode with some great advice and tips to get the most out of your daily exercise routine. Today on two Brothers One Mic, we open a discussion with Dr. Nicole Ranttila about "Psychological Eating Disorders" and discover some not so known facts about these issues. We tend to think anorexia and bulimia are the only two existing ones and only know 1...maybe 2 characteristics  about them. But as you'll discover there are others which exist as well. More interesting enough, those we know of are much more complex than simply "not eating" or making ourselves vomit after a big meal. Lots of information in today's show with a follow-up episode planned for the future. That's today on Two brothers One Mic!
