Amber’s having a postpartum period from actual HELL and has bought cream sofas despite owning two children and a Labrador, despite everyone telling her not to.
This week: pineapple curtains that declare 'I'm infertile' or 'I'm a swinger', why “IVF warrior” gives us the ick, and the stranger accusing Amber of murdering her children. A conversation which ends with “Harder, harder, get the casket.” Sorry in advance.
There’s also an update on trying to organise a wedding for someone with incurable cancer, a debate about what Taylor Swift and Zoella actually owe their audiences, and Annabel preparing to leave her job. Ideally for a £2 million lottery win, but it would seem she’s supposed to send some freelance emails first.

This week, we’re asking if ChatGPT is making us all dumb, saying RIP to any sense of personality on social media, and why every single hot take is no longer a hot take but a regurgitated cold take of everyone else's hot takes.
We give our very unsolicited verdict on the new Strictly presenters, worry that Nigella might turn Bake Off into the Great British Horn Off, discuss Amber's exceptionally large crumble ego and discover Annabel's Dad might be trying to make contact with Amber through astrology psychic appointments she didn't make.
Nothing if not respectful.

Amber launches her 100 Days of Good Christmas challenge and goes on what is essentially a first date with a new mum friend. Plus, friendship jealousy, changing your accent depending on who you’re talking to, Strictly Come Dancing and why we’d be utterly useless on I’m a Celebrity.

One of the girls made a VERY big (and exciting!) decision... We’re talking career changes, imposter syndrome, undiagnosed but very possible ADHD, complete overwhelm and the small matter of whether selling feet pics could become a viable backup plan.

This week, we’re asking the important questions: who the fuck were we 10 years ago, why has adulthood absolutely battered us, and is overtaking a hearse actually acceptable?
From sex dungeons and Peterborough parkways to ageing, death anxiety, intrusive thoughts and our increasingly uncomfortable relationship with true crime, this one takes a fairly spectacular turn. Standard.

This week we're spiralling over manifestation, life plans that haven't quite gone to plan, the pressure of "having it all figured out", and why one Tesco trip can somehow cost £47. Plus: home renovation regrets, IVF hot takes, and the very real struggle of remembering Sunday dinner exists.

Amber recaps her first proper child-free wedding since becoming a mum (which involved tequila, karaoke and far too many shots), while we spiral into conversations about cosmetic procedures, motherhood, beauty standards and all the random tangents you'd expect from us.

This week is one of those we're absolutely fine episodes... except we're ya know... not.
Amber is deep in the postpartum trenches - four months of broken sleep, hair falling out, a baby who refuses a bottle, washing piles that have become a part of her personality, and the very real disappointment of discovering exclusive breastfeeding didn't stop her period coming back. Meanwhile, Annabel is feeling equally overwhelmed, sharing the mental load of trying to keep up with life when everything feels just a bit too much.
We spiral into why an "everything shower" can feel like therapy, whether taking photos of your unplugged straighteners is anxiety or just sensible, the wild west that is TikTok comment sections, unsolicited Facebook dick pics (yes, really), and why fixing a £200 toaster feels more stressful than replacing it.
It's honest, it's sweary... and a reminder that sometimes surviving the week is quite enough.

Welcome to Two Girls, One Spiral. Hosted by Amber Izzo & Annabel Gammack, two good friends with far too many thoughts and absolutely no ability to leave anything at “it is what it is.” It’s an…
Each week the girls talk their way through modern life and things they’ve seen online, things they probably should’ve kept to themselves - a bit like sitting in the kitchen with your friends after two glasses of wine saying “wait no because is it just me that…”
Send in your dilemmas, stories and situations keeping you up at 2am because really, there’s no such thing as oversharing - or overthinking - on this podcast.
