Two Little Kits

A huge drop in the number of works-in-progress compared to last FlossTube, but I've made so much progress, though! Which you can't be upset about… right? 😅

I didn't really plan long term on releasing multiple cross-stitch patterns last week, but I'm glad I made it work and managed to get them both out on time. I am genuinely curious on what you think about the pattern I was a little mysterious about last fortnight. I'm a fan of the colours, the simplicity of the design and surprised at how much I enjoyed working on it..! So let me know what you think in the comments below.

• What are some monochrome patterns (or designers who have done many monochrome patterns) that you know of and suggest I check out?
• Should I enter the Washington State Fair this year? If so, what should I enter? You've seen what I have available!

As of the 17th, my FlossTube series is 4-years-old! I started way back in 2021, not really knowing what to expect from my videos. I don't think I follow the regular FlossTube kind of 'vibe' that you might otherwise see, but these videos have helped me be more mindful of what I've gotten up to and give me some time & space to process how things have gone.

This episode had a whopping seven works-in-progress to share (one that I'm shrouding in mystery 😉). I also got the nice surprise in the "final" hour when I realised I actually didn't want to release my next cross-stitch pattern; "Zodiac: Leo", last week, as it was still Cancer-season. Now I get to have the feeling of being on top of things for once!

I'm officially wrapping up my 30s now, I guess..!

In this fortnight's episode, I touch on a number of different things. I even made notes on what questions I wanted to ask you guys - go me!

Some questions I asked for your feedback on:

• Should I enter my recent finished piece to the Washington State Fair?
• What are/were your thoughts on the "FlossTube Celebration" kit/piece? 🗈
• Will you do the Twigs & Tea stitch-along too?
• What WIP should I pick back up from the ones shown?
• ...and more!

🗈 The "FlossTube Celebration" kit had some hiccups, growing pains, etc. with it, so I'm really curious about what you thought about the whole thing — whether you purchased a kit or not. I did get some helpful (albeit difficult to read objectively) piece of feedback already, but I would love for more info points!
The reason being; I was thinking I might continue doing something similar to this in the future! But if there isn't any(/very little) interest in it, then I will spend my efforts elsewhere. Yanno?

I love being able to see the progress made on things like my works-in-progress between each FlossTube episode. I didn't get as much stitching done as I 'normally' would, because of summer break, but it is probably more than I would've realised without being able to compare fortnight-to-fortnight. I hope you enjoy seeing the progression, too!

Well, there were a number of tangents today, I guess. But we got there in the end!

More work on the same set of works-in-progress, some 'haul' that I've gotten over the past month or so and even a finished piece that I forgot to share in the last FlossTube episode. I made a [horrible] realisation right before I started recording this FlossTube episode. I haven't made designs for teacher appreciation week still... and it's ALREADY April. Ahhh!
