A new Beyoncé album, a new pandemic, and new messiness from Miss DJT?!?! Is it 2020 all over again? We stopped through to sit down with you gurls and give you some thoughts on what has turned out to be one event filled summer. Deveraux told y'all gurls about those even numbered years!

After that we'll take some time to reflect on our plans for the Summer, some potential big political changes on the horizon and a big life change or two for Malekai.

This week Malekai's got tales from her desert trip to Coachella while a disappointing and unprofessional appointment between a therapist and a family member leads the two to discuss mental health and the current state of therapy.

Contessa joins us this week to talk about THE SLAP heard AND seen around the world. We talk about the different takes, share our own view of the incident along with the ramifications for the culture of someone of Will Smith's stature engaging in...n-word behavior. And that leads us to a deeper discussion of friendships and how relationships change  and end sometimes for the better. It's a long one but a good one.

This week we talk about how quite a few queens and kings who have gotten locked up both domestically and internationally. Of course, any talk about our criminal system leads to a larger discussion crime and safety. Finally, we wouldn't be us without a lil WWIII/Russia talk.

With the horrible turn of events, we unfortunately can't ignore the rampant Anti-Blackness (and Brownness) that has also revealed itself in the wake of the Russian invasion.
