Well, another Black History Month has come to an end and we couldn't think of a better way to wrap it up than with remembering the icon and legend that was André Leon Talley, Vogue's LEGENDARY Creative Director and Editor-at-Large.

Oooh gurls, we've got a fun one for y'all this week. Weeks, months EVEN years of research and consideration have gone into our picks of the GREATEST MOMENTS OF BLACK POP CULTURE HISTORY! This is the quintessential list and anyone else's is completely wrong. Jk, jk. We did have quite a bit of fun coming up with the list and are excited to hear what you all think. And we wouldn't be us, without at least a little political talk about a rough start to Black History Month.

Welp, better late than never I always say. Since Insecure had the audacity to end as we went on our mid-season break, we thought we might as well just wait till Black History Month to do her justice and really unpack its final season, the series as a whole and THAT ending with the time it deserves. 

Happy Black History Month Gurls! It's our time...to talk about how trash trade is. Just kidding, we're more talking about how trash Deveraux's dating options are and how much of that is influenced by none other than the women in his life. Awww. 

Miss Deveraux's got a story for y'all this week that's full of family shenanigans, off white criminals and...lottery tickets. We getting a different side of our good judy as we find out what happens when someone does something shady to her family. Not on her watch!

Happy New Year Gurls! We're back from our mid-season break to break down a couple of messy, gutter queens that aren't us. We talk about some queens from our own family who can't trust along with some politicians who may or may not be responsible for the end of our democracy. Here's to another even numbered year :|.

This week is a throwback to one of my favorite episodes, Global Gurls. Not just because it was a reminder of the jet setting gurls Deveraux and I use to be but the turn it took when Deveraux recounted one of her most embarrassing (and hilarious in my opinion) travel memories. Sadly over a year later we're still no traveling the same way. But happy to share this excerpt from back when we used to go WAY too long lol.

Unfortunately Insecure had the audacity to end while we're on our mid-season break so we'll be breaking down our thoughts on the end of the series in a future episode. But to tide you over, hear our thoughts on the previous season and where Molly and Issa's relationship ended up before the start of the final season. Oh and I guess we also talk about George Floyd protests, police brutality and Supreme Court rulings...good times.

Whew 2021 sure didn't took out on us, didn't she? While there were definitely some highlights (Hey Moderna/Pfizer), this year was more than a bit rough. As Miss Rona's new sister Omicron rages on, Deveraux and Malekai reflect on the year that was, whether they met the goals and what they hope for the year to come.
