Two True Freaks! 2

It's a short, sweet, and to the point episode as the Freaks examine two more episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, THE DAUPHIN and CONTAGION! In what seems to be a WORLD TURNED UPSIDE-DOWN, Scott actually LIKES a Wesley Crusher episode! Then - find out what happens when the Enterprise neglects to install NORTON ANTI-VIRUS on the ship's computer!

In which the Freaks anticipate STAR WARS CELEBRATION VI and reveal how the listeners have literally SAVED CHRIS' ASS! Hear his PATHETIC SOB STORY!

Then.... it's on to the LEGENDARY MARVEL RUN OF STAR WARS COMICS! This time, we have a super-bonus set of comics - so huge that they eclipse the regularly-scheduled Indiana Jones coverage, but don't worry - he'll be back!

This month, we return to the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk in issue #91 where our heroes play detective when the half-eaten body of Art Carney is discovered!! ... okay, not really, but that would have been a great story!! Oh, well, there IS a pants-less Malla, much to Chris' delight.

Then, we move on to Star Wars Annual #3, a double-sized Klaus Janson issue that the Freaks are now seeing in a different light.

Finally, it's another double-sized issue with #92 that ties into the aforementioned Annual AND introduces the most anti-climactic "New Dark Lord" EVER!!

ENJOY!!

Thirty years ago, it was a different world. Aliens scourged the Earth for peanut butter candies then battled for a trophy with a little bald pacifist, transvestite soap opera stars ruled the airwaves, little girls would randomly get snatched by demons living in their TV sets, the future governor of California decapitates Darth Vader and Eli Nutter took his wife and kids to see Porkys! That's right, it was 1982! Join Scott and Chris as they stumble down memory lane to pay tribute to the movies and comics of 1982! It's a FREAKY FLASHBACK!

In June of 2012, the world lost one of the greatest authors of all time, RAY BRADBURY. The Freaks pay tribute to this influential visionary this month by talking through the Disney production of Something Wicked This Way Comes, an often neglected and overlooked film that Bradbury considered the best adaptation of any of his stories!
