Two True Freaks! 2

Due to a FREAK TRANSPORTER ACCIDENT, the CLASSIC Trek and TNG Monthly Monday formats have been melded together into one CHERON-LIKE episode!

This month, The Freaks are joined by one of their favorite guests - Mike "Bibliomike" Poteet! The luck of the draw has brought two extremely similar episodes together -- very much like that old Reese's Peanut Butter Cup commercial...

Anyway, first up is the Classic Trek episode COURT MARTIAL -- where Kirk gets embroiled in a courtroom drama, but STILL gets time to mete out a few roundhouses!

Then, BEATEN AND SOBBING, The Freaks and special guest take on the BIG question - "Is Data People or just a WALKING TOASTER?" -- in the Next Generation episode MEASURE OF A MAN.

Yes, that's right, it's an episode chock full o' PHILOSOPHY AND GRAVITAS! It's a regular Masterpiece Theatre up in here!

It's a mystery episode

It's awesome

It's about time you downloaded it already

After a month with the monkey, The Freaks are back on format!!

That means new reviews of Marvel Star Wars and Indiana Jones comics! Whoo-hoo!! But first -- there's some housecleaning, some thank yous to the listeners, Chris plugs the Two True Freaks Tumblr page, and Scott catches up on his Star Wars Expanded Universe book reviews.

Also, Chris runs afoul of a Sith child at a garage sale , the much-anticipated Star Wars Celebration event is discussed, and Scott goes to Disney's Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekends (and brings back some awesome surprises)!!

Then, it's on to the comics!! Unfortunately, these aren't the most stellar issues ever reviewed on this show, but that just means that The Freaks have to pull out their greatest defense mechanism - HUMOR!

It's a MASSIVE EPISODE! MASSIVE!

Enjoy!!

Scott's wife surprises him with FREE movie tickets -- and how do they choose to spend them? Well, on Ass-Kickin' Abe, of course!!

Scott offers up a relatively quick and SPOILER-FREE "first impressions" review of our sixteenth president's latest flick.

Is it good? Is it cheesy? Is it "historically accurate"? Isn't it about time you gave your last full measure of devotion and downloaded the damn thing already?

King Kong Month finishes up with Peter Jackson's epic 2005 version of KING KONG! Joining the Freaks this time is Chris "I Can't Stay Mad At That Monkey" Tyler! Not enough dinosaurs in the last Kong for you? Well batten down the hatches bucko, you're getting eight million dinosaurs, fifteen zillion crawly bugs, dozens of tons of angry monkey AND the kitchen sink thrown at you in this one! See the breathtaking recreation of 1930's New York, and then watch Kong BEND, FOLD, STAPLE, SPINDLE AND MUTILATE IT! A special shout out to listener Caleb Gerard for pointing out an appropriate bit of MONKEY MUSIC for this episode!

Chris Honeywell is joined by Jonathan Crites in this IN-DEPTH and SPOILER filled review of Ridley Scott's highly anticipated PROMETHEUS. Seriously, save this one for AFTER you've seen the film. Was the 3D worth it? Is it the SPACE TRAIN CRASH so many geeks claim or is it an INSTANT CLASSIC or somewhere in between? There's only one way to find out - SEE THE MOVIE and decide for yourself, THEN listen to the podcast to find out if you are right!
