Two True Freaks! 2

King Kong Month BARRELS ON with the Dino DiLaurentis produced Bicentennial KING KONG! This much maligned film gets dusted off and is found by the Freaks to be quite a fun film, in fact, it's Scott's FAVORITE Kong! So what if the giant mechanical Kong was a bust? You've got RICK BAKER in a MONKEY SUIT! It don't get much better than that! Add an earnest performance by Jeff Bridges and you even start to forget that there's no dinosaurs! So sit back with a bowl of bananas and listen to the Freaks babble through KING KONG '76!

King Kong Month Continues in this hilarious and somewhat sentimental episode as The Freaks take a look back at one of their favorite "treasury sized" comic books from days gone by -- Whitman's Movie Comics: King Kong!!

Also -- SPECIAL BONUS -- It's Chris to the rescue as a bit of "less-than-encouraging" listener feedback seriously threatens Scott's normally sunny disposition (Yeah, right!)

The Hair Metal Hero and Luke Jaconetti join Scott Gardner and Chris Honeywell for a JAW CRACKING, RAGDOLL CRUSHING, GAS BOMBING, EYE SHOOTING romp through Skull Island and New York City in the ORIGINAL giant monkey movie - KING KONG! Journey back to 1933 to the stop motion classic that started it all! NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY! This episode of Two True Freaks will be broadcast in black and white, please do not adjust your sets.

Join the Freaks and COMIC COHORT Michael Bailey as they munch popcorn and Combos and talk all the way through ULTIMATE AVENGERS with their mouth's full! Six years before Joss Whedon's little sleeper film there was a cartoony smash 'em up with many of the same elements and the Freaks figured, "What the hell, let's jump on the bandwagon!" Seeing how Chris had to read 13 GODDAM COMICS in the Ultimates series, we might as well make him watch the movie, too! And guess what? - INTERDIMENSIONAL NAZIS!

This month, the Freaks are back on format and spend the vast bulk of the episode desperately trying to bring some much needed attention to a neat little super-hero flick that just appeared outta nowhere, with no fanfare whatsoever, and could really use a box-office boost 'cause, strangely, absolutely no one seems to be talking about it.

The Freaky Five Returns! As does everybody's FAVORITE segment -- Get Chris To Read A Goddamn Super-Hero Comic!! What's covered this month? Download the ****in' thing and find out, fer chrissakes! I don't slave over this shit for hours just so you can find out all the juicy bits in the blurb, y'know!
