Gentleman and Ladies start your engines for this weeks high octane episode of TWGTF! We get behind the wheel this week on the show and we take a long drive and look at two films mostly set in motor vehicles! First we take a long trip to Iran with the a film by a director who has come on our show twice now in two weeks with the Abbas Kiarostami and is 1997 film that may divide the boys more then most movies have with the very controversial The Taste of Cherry. Following that our hosts pull off to a Texas bar and gas up their Challenger and get ready to look at maybe the most exciting and underrated of the Tarantino library in the 2007 film Deathproof!

Its a pair of problematic masterpieces as brought to you by Tyler. You have been fairly warned! First up we dive into the deep end of sadness with the 1972 film from master filmmaker Ingmar Bergman with the deeply affective Cries and Whispers. Following this we are once again sent on what feels like a uncomfortable journey with Abbas Kiarostami in his penultimate work of 2013 with the deeply thought provoking Like Someone in Love

It's Time to look into second films and we have two by two who changed filmmaking in their own unique ways! First up we have the grandfather of the blockbuster just a year before he would create the summer movie craze with Jaws! Before that however the one and only Steven Spielberg set off to make a sweaty little crime picture in the 1974 film The Sugarland Express. Following that we take a look at the follow up to the underseen Dark Star by way of John Carpenter with his beloved cult hit from 1976 Assault on Precinct 13.

Up first is the debut feature by master filmmaker Takeshi Kitano with his turn from comedy to drama with the unflinching 1989 Violent Cop. Following that we are given the film that kicked off the J horror revolution from Shinya Tsukamoto. A film that shocked two film fans and left us asking one question who is Tetsuo the Iron Man?

Today we are looking at a very unique film and giving our takes on what it would be like if this film got the gold star treatment in 2021! It is truly an underappreciated gem in the Sci-Fi action genre and is of course the 1992 cult classic Nemesis!

Welcome back to our final episode of the second year of TWGTF! Man alive we have seen some good movies throughout the last fifty two weeks! Now at the close of the second year we jump into two films Ben thinks Tyler will like! Luckily this wasn't crazy hard as we all know the fastest way to a young boys heart is through Brad Pitt! The first film is the 2001 post 9-11 spy film that show just how bad the CIA is in the great little pairing with Pitt and legend Robert Redford Spy Game! Following that we are off to New Orleans that looks like Detroit but is supposed to be Boston with the 2012 film staring Mr. Pitt! A film that shows the workings of gangsters and all the trouble they have to go through to whack a guy in the deeply cynical Killing Them Softly.

Following this we get down with the film that makes you question so many things including the description of a mystical figures genitalia with the 2000 film by Rob Spera Leprechaun 5: In the Hood!
