TwoSistas and it’s Episode #460 on this FantabulousFriday! As we move forward in life, it’s important to recognize the goals, accomplishments that we have reached and those we have yet to reach. Sometimes “fear” plays a big part in how we move, or don’t move, forward with reaching our goals. Part of reaching our goals is the ability to take action - what holds us back, yup the “F” word FEAR. How do we move past that?
For instance, Janis shared that even though she is typically on video everyday, she has a fear of going live on her personal and professional Facebook pages. A friend of Janis’ challenged her to “get it done”. As with any sibling, Carroll-Sue gave Janis some great advice and challenged her just to do it! Challenge accepted!
What “fear” is holding you back from achieving your goals? Have you experienced that fear and just went for it and looked back and said, why was I so fearful? We would love to hear from you! Share your fears, how you overcame them, and what you have learned from your experience.

TwoSistas and it’s TriumphTuesday and isn’t ironic that when Janis did her intro she almost attempted to triumph over an email she had just received - she shared her frustration over the status of a dress she ordered for her niece’s wedding - we guess this was something about nothing but nonetheless, it irritated Janis!
The woes of frustrations when dealing with customer service, especially when there is no way to email; you are either on the phone (for a long time) or chatting with customer service via text messaging.
Although “triumph” sounds like a big word and in actuality, it can be, don’t overlook what you have accomplished, what you have triumphed over - no matter what! It can be something as simple as making your bed - you made it - you completed that first task of the day - that is a triumph!
A further chit chat, this about something, nothing about nothing and upcoming plans for our 500th episode!
What did you think of today’s podcast? How do you celebrate your “triumphs”? Have something else on your mind? Let us know - we would love to hear from you!! Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas and it's MindsetMonday but more importantly, "D" Day - the 78th anniversary of the "Normandy" landings. The Normandy landings were associated with the airborne operations on Tuesday, June 6, 1944 of the invasion of Normandy in World War II. (Our Dad served as a medic during WW2.). So much to always say about the history, of those who served, to those who gave some and some that gave all . . .
A look at mindset in the terms of different subjects such as our overall wellness, keyboard bullies, inappropriate books and the art of "listening". Wow, we have a lot of "quotation" marks today!
And "That's the way it is; Monday, June 6, 2022." (Do you know who always said that tag line?)

TwoSistas on this WealthWellnessWednesday welcomed Debbie Saroufim. After struggling for years with an eating disorder, Debbie now assists others by making peace with their body, through food and exercise apart from the "diet culture". As a woman's health advocate, she looks at all aspects of wellness. Although her opinions on certain areas are far different from TwoSistas, we welcomed the opportunity to engage in a healthy conversation about what "diet culture" means to each of us.

TwoSistas and it's Sailing Saturday! The "Sistas" welcomed back to their podcast, Dr Anthony Kaveh. Dr. Kaveh was previously on the podcast on March 19, 2022. You may recall that Dr Kaveh is a Stanford and Harvard trained, board-certified anesthesiologist, integrative medicine specialist, and physician influencer (300+k, @MedicalSecrets). Dr Kaveh has a very unique perspective approach and shared the powers of mind-body with patients before surgery to help them uncover incredible potential during surgery. Anesthesia can actually "open up" patients.
Dr Kaveh also shared that his patients have the benefit of optimal healing through their experiences in the operating room. It comes down to having trust and who is caring for you when you are put "under". As he explained, many patients can be hyper-excitable pre-surgery. It's important to emphasize how important mindset, nutrition and fitness plays into one's conditioning going into surgery and post-surgery.
Such an amazing podcast today; a few laughs; the game "operation", what may or may not be discussed in the operating room and the optimal experience and this mysterious branch of medicine. We can't wait to have Dr Kaveh on again!
