TwoSistas episodes

  • WealthWellnessWednesday and it's a spicey day!

TwoSistas, WealthWellnessWednesday and it's a little off topic - but hey, that's okay!  What happens when things go off topic?  We still chat about the topic of the day and of course there was a little something about nothing and how did "masks" end up in the conversation?  Back to WWW though - we love this day and it's a day to share the wealth in a way that creates the magic of the ripple effect - just imagine, you surprise an unsuspecting individual with a "money" exchange - maybe you caught them at just that right moment when they needed a little extra and YOU just made their day!!  That i the greatest of emotions - gratitude!

Today is also our 2nd Anniversary podcasting - this is episode #440 - through it all, we've shared so much!  We are both raw and authentic, salt and pepper, quiet and maybe a bit loud from time to time, but through it all, we are sharing what we are passionate about - we are on a mission!

We would love to hear your take on the last 2 years - what did you like, what did you not like, what was your favorite episode, what is one topic you would like us to chat about or perhaps you have a special occasion coming up such as a birthday, anniversary, or wedding (whatever your occasion is) and you want us to give a shout out - let us know!!  Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

  • MindsetMonday - 05.02.22

TwoSistas, MindsetMonday and it's Janis' Birthday month - yes; she will be reminding us all month long!!  Setting ourselves up for success is always based on our goals and what we want to achieve or attain.  What happens when your vision board of your goals looks like a Pinterest board?  Sometimes we put too much emphasis on doing the right thing that it takes us away from what we actually want to achieve.  How do you combat or deal with that?  Pick (3) goals you want to attain and work diligently to achieve them - there may be trial and error, but that is part of the growing aspect.

If you are filled with so many ideas that it keeps you from even starting, make a long-term list.  For instance, if you have a very big goal that you realistically know will take you months to even wrap your ahead around it, put that on your long-term list.  Of course, it's important to remember not to use that list to deter you from reaching your "3"!!

How do you work toward's your goals?  Do you have a fixed or growth mindset?  We would love to hear your thoughts on this topic.  Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas and it's TrendingThursday at Night with Wendy Kok.  Wendy is an Author and Podcaster (A Juice Pear Podcast) and loves interviewing creatives as well as people that have overcome obstacles.  Wendy and Janis were among several co-authors who hit #1 International Best Seller - Thriving Beyond Crisis :  Conversations with Resilient Entrepreneurs.  Before Wendy was involved with that Anthology, her new book, A Grey Resort was published.  Wendy won a award for A Grey Resort (which she describes took her 8 years to write - romantic / paranormal activity - you just have to read it!)  She recently published her new book, An Awakening during the pandemic.

Not only is Wendy an Author and Podcaster, but in her early twenties served our country in the Armed Services.  She mentioned on our podcast, oh the stories she could share from all of her experiences - we know that would make an amazing book as well!  She is also a wife and Mom to (2) sets of twins.

  • WealthWellnessWednesday with Pamela Meadows - 04.26.22

TwoSistas and it's WealthWellnessWednesday with Pamela Meadows!  Pamela is an author, speaker, executive and certified coach. With over 15 years of experience leading complex teams in a male-dominated industry, Pamela excelled her way to an executive position. Along the journey to becoming Vice President, Pamela learned that ambitious, hard-working women do not ascend career plateaus through only work ethic. Women need to stop playing small, hoping their hard work will be enough to get the promotion and instead cultivate the confidence, clarity and communication skills needed to earn their place at the table. Pamela is on a mission to help women stop playing small and step into a position of power.

Pamela shared amazing tools with us today and encouraged all women to challenge the "should" - "I should of .  . . "  - with her amazing insight and also sharing with us simple yet very effective tools on how to combat those should of's and fears.  To connect with Pamela, you can find her on Instagram or go to her website - she not only coaches women but also holds various workshops for girls in their teen years:

  • TriumphTuesday @ Night - 04.26.22

TwoSistas and it's TriumphTuesday @ Night!  What we triumph over is often expected or unexpected - the expected are those things that we check off of our list or the goals that we attain; the unexpected, well is just that - unexpected.  Sometimes those "unexpected" results often lead us to where we should be or in many cases will direct us in a way that honors our journey - it's all about perspective.  Just remember always to share those "triumphs" - whatever that is it should be celebrated and yes, a pat on the back is certainly in order!

What did you triumph over?  Were you able to check off a task or a goal off your list?  Let us know - we would love to hear from you!  Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

  • FantabulousFriday - 04.22.22

TwoSistas and it's FantabulousFriday!  On "live" a little later in the morning than usual and that's okay.  Today we chatted about the "journey" of our goals and the fear that we sometimes experience.  Part of the journey and the celebration of the journey is taking that initial step.  It's normal to ask ourselves, well, if we do this, what if I fail?  That's a normal thing to think but what if you did fail; what if it lead you to do something different even better than you were mean to do?  What if, you learned a valuable lesson and created something that was better than you expected?  Journey, the destination, fear, and a resolve to move forward.
