TwoSistas, FantabulousFriday and it's April Fools' Day! What type of of "pranks" do you have in store? Have you experienced any pranks yet? Inquiring minds want to know! Also, the tax deadline is looming - this year, April 15th falls on Good Friday so we checked the IRS website and your tax filings are due April 18th - so a few extra days but don't delay!
Why comments, although they may be will intended on your part end up setting off a keyboard warrior and our take on tips to implement if this happens to you. Ask yourself, is it worth my time and energy? Maybe the best action is just to say "Thank you for your input - have a great day!" and leave it at that.
How do you handle something of this nature? What strategies do you use? We would love to hear from you! Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas and it's WealthWellnessWednesday! This day in history 41 years ago today: On March 30, 1981 - do you know what happened? A great day filled with history, other facts and why staying away from the keyboard may be your best option. Although many tend to hide behind their keyboards, before we act, ask yourself: is it worth my energy to get my point across? As Janis mentioned, in the past she has attempted to have an open discussion on the facts while on-line - it just doesn't work out. Opinions are just that - our opinions. If you have to argue your opinion, do it in such a way that you take the higher road - not the keyboard road!
Whispers, due diligence and why Janis was yelling at her TV last night - and so much more!
We would love to hear from you! How do you deal with responses to often touchy subject matters when on-line? Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas and it' a Welcome Back on this TriumphTuesday after a short hiatus - we originally thought we would not be back on air until the end of the week!
As many of you know, Janis' son, Ryan Scott, suffered a life-threatening injury back on July 19, 2021. On March 24, 2022, Ryan went through a major surgery to replace the left part of his skull. He is doing quite well; better than expected and we are so excited that he can now move forward with his life! Janis thanked family, friends and our viewers and listeners who have reached out with prayers and messages of encouragement and checking in with our families - truly amazing as prayers are always felt - in Janis' opinion, Ryan's progress is miraculous!
Carroll-Sue shared with us that she completed the Ultimate Thriver 12-week challenge. Challenging: of course! Through adversity, traveling and the derailments that pop-up, her initial thought in doing this challenge was just to complete it - and she most certainly did, with flying colors! The process of persistence!!
A chat about the Oscars and the aftermath - was it staged: no one really knows but we do know this: you are in control of how you act and your reaction to something - and if you've seen the video of what transpired, it certainly was something.
If you are trying to triumph over adversity or a challenge that you want to complete, don't wait for the right time: start it with a firm yes; chart your course and if you need any assistance, TwoSistas is here to help you along the way!
We would love to hear from you and what you want to triumph over - go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas, MindsetMonday and it's all about the mindset, how we set up our mornings and a controversial topic of the day. No matter how you choose to your day, the main thing to remember is not to compare yourself with anyone else - we can't stress this enough. Yes, Janis is up wicked early in the morning - this is what works best for her. Establishing a routine is more about just that - establishing it; tweek it, commit to it and yes, be a participant to it - a lot if IT this morning!!
Example - if you have to get up at 6am to get ready for the day, are you using your wake-up time to your advantage or are you taking advantage of that time? We all know time is a precious commodity we just need to respect our time.
How or when do you allow yourself to get in that journal, meditation or exercise time? What works best for you? How did you commit to it? Build that foundation and empower yourself to be a better version of yourself each day!
We would love to hear from you! Share your thoughts on our website by either hitting that "contact" button and submit a written request or comment or by leaving us a voice message directly on our website:

TwoSistas, Sailing Saturday and have you ever wondered what happens to you when you are “under”? We were so excited to have on as our guest today Dr. Anthony Kaveh, MD. Dr. Kaveh was an engineer turned doctor who empowers patients with the best kept secrets in medicine. He's a former Silicon Valley entrepreneur and Stanford/Harvard trained, board certified anesthesiologist. He's also an integrative medicine specialist.
Dr. Kaveh shared his amazing knowledge not only as an anesthesiologist but as a physician to share with his patients an integrative approach and the connection of powers of mind-body with his patients before surgery to help them uncover incredible potential during surgery. Anesthesia can actually "open up" patients.
From connecting with his patients the night before surgery to checking in with them to see how they are doing and if they have any questions to guiding them through before they are officially put under and through the process of when they are awakened. TwoSistas and we are Trending on this Thursday evening, St. Patrick's Day, 2022 - Carroll-Sue was all lit up - in green that is!! A little bit of history about St. Patrick's Day - some things we did know and some things we did. We all love a good history lesson - here is the article Janis was referring to:
https://www.history.com/news/st-patricks-day-facts?fbclid=IwAR1mtmCqRBYG8lvj6T6oz-S2YilOh8Z0UEmXk89-zjvLyvQe2N5woE5e9-c
Thank you of course to the History Channel - you always have to be open to learn something new!
A little more about something about something (Janis' own YouTube Channel - she is a Virtual Assistant and she shared her Bloopers Reel) - how she is learning about split clips, adding in music & sound effects.
Trending is a means or a way to go out of your comfort zone; being open to learning and putting a spin on it when the learning gets hard. What happens when things get hard for you? It can be overwhelming; be kind to yourself, know when to take a break and celebrate those milestones!
As always, we would love to hear from you! Go to our website and leave us a voice message:

TwoSistas and it's WealthWellnessWednesday and we were excited to have on our podcast today, Denise Wester. Denise is a Certified Life Coach and Author of the book: Busting Through: Methods to get courageous, take action get unstuck and find your personal power!
When Denise found herself a young single mom on welfare, not knowing where they would sleep the next night, she got courageous and Busted Through to make a better life for her family and herself.
Denise's family was part of a restrictive religion to which she never felt connected. Being raised to have your future laid out, you could not dream or have choices except to be and do what you were told; that was your daily task, your future, and you were always made to feel that you never did it right or enough. So she left the religion when she was an adult and discovered her own spirituality. She has reimagined her life and feels empowered by the freedom to make choices for herself!
Denise has been through bankruptcy, divorce, multiple job layoffs, and recovered from many wrong turns and a severe car accident that took many years of rehabilitation. Life has been a great instructor, and she has experienced life-changing results herself to create a vibrant, joyful, and authentic life. She has laid out the methods and tools that saw her through these times in her journaling workbook, Busting Through.
As a Certified Life Coach, Denise is passionate about helping you overcome the stories holding you back, discovering your passion, clearing up the clutter in your life that is bogging you down, and dig deep to find the courage to take action in your life's vision.
Denise lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, Kevin. They enjoy seven grandchildren from their five kids. Being in the Northwest, she enjoys riding her bike, kayaking, and camping with the family.
To connect with Denise, please feel free to email her at: [email protected]
