TwoSistas welcomed to this WealthWellnessWednesday podcast, Episode #641 on June 7, 2023, Angela Gentile. Angela is the Founder of the Sweat Remix Wellness Brand which motivates you to start and sustain physical exercise, guides you towards greater self awareness, and provides keeping it real life coaching. With a variety of online fitness classes and #ZenRageHeal process, she and Sweat Remix provide folks with an intentional approach to fitness with sustainable results.
Decorated in the educational field and teaching for several years, doing what she thought she should be doing as an elder millennial, there came a point after the unfortunate passing of her Dad when Angela asked herself: “What the hell am I doing?” She decided to attend grad school.
Since Angela is an athlete, she wrote her thesis on wellness programs for teachers and realized she was on to “something”. Perhaps she didn’t know exactly what that “something” was and nevertheless followed her intuition. It began with classes with other teachers and soon evolved to obtaining different contracts with other educational institutions to teach wellness classes.
Angela realized she was “worth something” and this “something” somewhat terrified her but she took the risk. When making a life change or a direction that is unexpected but frankly the right thing to do, you leap! It changes your growth and mindset!
Her Movement and Mental Health Mastermind Course helps clients with a full mind, body and spirit transformation in just 12 weeks. Launching Sweat Remix is her business which transforms her clients body, mindset and life through movement, meditation and mental health coaching.
We often may feel stuck and it’s that negative energy which traps us. It’s time to break that barrier. Your body will keep the score. When the body changes so does the mind and vice versa. Why not impact and add value to your life. Break that barrier - JUST BE EPIC!
Angela is also the Podcast Host of the “Go Be Epic Podcast”. To learn more about Angela and to connect with her further, please check out her website and other social media platforms:

TwoSistas and it’s Episode #639, the first MindsetMonday on this June 5, 2023. In the Northeast, the temperature the past few days makes it feel like fall weather - whether to weather the storm! What the weekend can bring and how you can go forward with a positive mindset. (We had a blip in the audio for about 30 - 40 seconds; the rest of the audio of this podcast is okay.)
Mindset is a perception and a cultivation of habits - sometimes, it’s difficult to put into words what mindset can really do for your outlook, mood, health, so many things in your life. As we know it, life happens and it’s okay to say “NO” and it’s true: “No” is a complete sentence and does not need an explanation. It’s how we say it.
A family wedding - congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Melillo, spending time with the ones you love, relaxing and of course what we are watching on TV! What are you watching or in some cases binge watching??!!

TwoSistas welcomed to this WealthWellnessWednesday podcast, Episode #636 on May 31, 2023, Dr. Heather Awad. Dr. Awad is a family doctor in Minnesota who helps professional women over age 50 find permanent weight loss.
Dr. Awad’s approach to permanent weight loss not only comes from being a physician but from her own journey as well. While everyone is very unique and different, it is important to know that short term results are just that - short term. (Dr. Awad stressed of course that she does not like this approach!) What is lacking for most is the approach to wellness and keeping the commitment to ourselves to reach our goals.
The emotional attachment to food vs our body’s need for energy is a complicated process. It all starts with small changes. For instance, Dr. Awad recommended that we space an adequate amount of time between our meals. This gives your digestive system a chance to calm down. She also suggested not eating while in front of the TV (for various reasons of course.)
Dr. Award further recommended that if you are feeling stuck, one thing that you can look at first is your sugar intake. For example, are there added sugars in the spices that you use, etc.? This requires you to make sure that you read the labels.
Living a healthy lifestyle does not have to be as complicated. It starts with taking small steps. What’s your goal with your wellness journey? Are you willing to hold yourself accountable to reach those goals? Yes; it can be hard but we know you can!

TwoSistas welcomed to this Memorial Day podcast, Episode #635 on this MindsetMonday, May 29, 2023, Dr. Erin Mayfield, DO. Dr. Mayfield is an OBGYN and Lifestyle Medicine physician with over 35 years experience taking care of patients. Passion to share the transformational benefits of whole plant centered nutrition, fitness (especially over age 60) and therapeutic sleep.
There are so many contributing factors that result in lifestyle changes and advances in how we approach our health; some good; some not so good. It wasn’t until a torn rotator cuff injury that sidelined Dr. Mayfield after her move to Florida where she really felt a different calling in her physician journey. She started to focus on “lifestyle” changes.
Shifting your perspective and utilizing the resources within yourself and working 1 on 1 with a lifestyle physician can assist you with a plan of action. Dr. Mayfield partners with her patients as a team, not as a one-size fits all. She stressed that it is of importance that her clients have the opportunity to share their questions and concerns.
While Dr. Mayfield’s practice is of a plant based nature, she provides group coaching courses including cooking classes. She emphasizes that there are foods that heal and foods that harm. Foods that heal take away the inflammatory response while foods that harm are inflammatory and contribute to various diseases.
Dr. Mayfield went over the six pillars of health, supplementation and how sodium affects the body. Sodium as we all know contributes to chronic kidney disease.
This is one of those podcasts where we have only scratched the surface! To learn more about Dr. Mayfield and to connect with her further, please check out her website and other social media platforms:

TwoSistas welcomed to the MondayMindset episode, May 22, 2023, Amanda Kirkland. Amanda is a personal growth coach / a self-professed practitioner of self-care! Her experience and background is powerful. Her own journey is certainly relatable.
Amanda experienced more personal, physical, and mental shifts in over twenty years than through traditional talk therapy. She now coaches others to learn, to live (and love) their lives without "the problem" (“the shit”) they’ve been experiencing for years (because that luggage is far too heavy!)
It all stems back to mindfulness; being practical and sometimes, peeling back the onion. That’s hard to do especially when dealing for instance with toxic dysfunctional relationships. It’s learning to communicate in perhaps a different way and changing the dynamics. Awareness, being part of the solution is a growth / necessity aspect of finding an impactful solution.
If you've got the weight of the world on your shoulders, know that you can go from “toxic to terrific” with assistance from Amanda to lighten the load. Let Amanda help you to unpack some of that shit (or those problems) and do just that!
