門徒看到主耶穌升天後，教會首次的禱告會就開始了。

We can kindle the flame of missions through our giving. God's light will shine through us when we give ourselves wholly to His Missions.

我们可以参与完成大使命的三种主要方式是祈祷、奉献和志愿服务。至于奉献，我们应该以什么方式参与呢？马其顿众教会的模式是我们应该效仿的榜样——乐捐的慷慨。

我們可以藉著奉獻點燃宣教之火。當我們完全獻身於上帝的宣教時，上帝的光就會照耀在我們身上。

How? When? Why? Is prayer really necessary? If God knows everything already, why should we still pray? How can prayer cease being a burden, but rather a privilege to enjoy?

"隨著教會在21世紀走上宣教的前線，我們呼籲每個會友背起自己的十字架來完成宣教的使命。 今天的講道提醒我們，上帝賜給每個人都有獨特的恩賜和事奉的崗位；因此，每個人都在宣教中要各司其職、各盡其責，每個人的參與都很重要。 唯有全教會共同努力完成神的使命，才能將福音傳遍全世界，才能完成這看似不可能的使命。

The work of missions is changing in the 21st century. With most of the framework “to the ends of the earth” nearly complete, the process of “filling” now takes priority. As we draw nearer to Christ’s return, churches and Christians now bear the greater responsibility in missions work and not just those crossing to unknown cultures. Today’s sermon renews the timeless call to followers of Jesus Christ to not be apathetic, but to maintain a constant attitude of preparedness in doing the right things as God’s missional community to reach the world. Then we will together be ready to respond to Christ’s question at the end of Matthew 25 when He returns.

教會存在地上的目的，就是為了傳福音，完成主的大使命。如果教會停止傳福音，就等於失去教會存在的意義和價值。今天盼望我們要透過三方面的認識，來了解宣教，也再次點燃我們對宣教火熱的心。

宣教工作在21世紀已在改變。 隨著「直到世界的末了」的架構差不多接近完成，如今的優先是「充實」的過程。 基督的再來越來越靠近，教會和基督徒在宣教工作中要承擔更大的責任，不僅是那些跨越到未知文化的同工。 今天的講道再次呼籲耶穌基督的門徒不要冷漠，乃要保持持續不斷的準備的狀態，帶著上帝的宣教使命走向世界做正確的事。 這樣，當基督再來時，我們將一起準備好回應馬太福音 25 章發出的問題。

There are two main claims about the resurrection, either Jesus truly resurrected or it was a story made up by the disciples as ordered by the chief priests for the guards to spread, and the only thing that Christians must do today for the lie to continue spreading, is to remain silent about it. But this is our mission, God is calling us all to make disciples who live in the identity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who would live out the resurrected Christ daily by obeying His commandments.
