While many believe the U.S. government's ongoing coverup of the extraterrestrial reality began in 1947, there is some evidence to suggest it actually started in either 1941 or 1945. In 1941, an alleged alien craft crashed near Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and the government reportedly recovered bodies and hardware. UFO investigator Jacques Vallee, meanwhile, has uncovered evidence that another crash occurred in New Mexico in 1945, two full years before the Roswell incident. Also, the Pentagon's new All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) has been ordered by Congress to provide all records of UFO crash retrievals that have occurred from Jan. 1, 1945, to the present day. Do the records from the alleged 1945 crash still exist, or have they been mysteriously destroyed similarly to how the Roswell records were reportedly destroyed?

Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Christopher Mellon penned a scathing article over the Christmas holiday that called out the mainstream media for failing to cover the unprecedented actions of the U.S. Congress to include UFO whistleblower protections in the freshly passed 2023 National Defense Authorization Act bill. The bill was signed into law December 23 by President Biden, yet the media ignored the consequential impact it is expected to have with regard to UFO disclosure. Also, the Wall Street Journal ran an opinion piece by Holman W. Jenkins, Jr, on the same day Biden signed the NDAA bill, that intimated people within the UFO community who seek disclosure are the real threats to national security. Finally, a report from online news outlet OutKick about alien abductions causing post-traumatic stress disorder was punctuated with inaccuracies and misinformation with regard to the topic.

President Biden last week signed the 2023 National Defense Authorization Act bill into law which includes language that protects potential whistleblowers of UFO and alien secrets from the Pentagon and military industrial complex from facing any repercussions. Former AATIP chief Lue Elizondo declared on Twitter after the bill was passed that, "You ain't seen nothing yet."
