There are several possible reasons why the general public seemingly did not care about the Congress’ UFO hearing on July, 26th, 2023 to disclose the existence of extraterrestrials:

1. Prioritization of Immediate Concerns: During poor economic times, people may be more focused on their day-to-day struggles, making it difficult for them to allocate attention to extraterrestrial disclosures.

2. Distrust in Governmental Communication: Lack of trust in the governmental communication tactics may lead some to dismiss such disclosures as a ploy or distraction.

3. Normalization of the Idea: Due to extensive exposure to science fiction and UFO-related content, the idea of extraterrestrial life might have become normalized and less shocking.

4. Insignificance of Individual Impact: Some people might feel that the existence of extraterrestrial life doesn't directly impact their lives or daily concerns.

5. Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs: When basic needs like food, shelter, and security are not met, individuals may have limited capacity to explore topics beyond survival.

6. Cultural and Religious Beliefs: Beliefs and cultural norms could influence how different communities perceive and react to such disclosures.

7. Lack of Tangible Evidence: Without concrete evidence or direct experiences, some may remain skeptical or indifferent.

8. Overwhelm and Desensitization: The constant bombardment of information and news may desensitize people to extraordinary claims.

9. Fear and Uncertainty: The idea of extraterrestrial life could trigger fear and uncertainty in some individuals, leading them to avoid thinking about it.

It's essential to recognize that these reasons are speculative and purely my opinions. The public's response to extraterrestrial disclosure widely varies depending on the circumstances and the specific nature of the information revealed.
