Former Springfield, MO Mayor Bob Stephens took some time to talk about his life, politics and his current passion: getting folks vaccinated against COVID-19. I've known him through my work in the fire service, but never got to really sit down and dive into his story. In his own words....."Be out there in the world and make it better." Division Chief of Health & Safety Kelly Cardin has had his hands FULL over the last year dealing with the pandemic through the lens of the fire department where we both work. This week I'm fortunate enough to spend some time with Cat & Todd, two of the main engines that comprise one of the oldest breweries in town, Springfield Brewing Co. Their Greene Ghost is a flagship IPA, followed up by the Greene Dragon, the double IPA which has caused many a wild adventure, and this week they debut The Goliath. This bad rooster is their Triple IPA, and I am here to tell you, it's the smoothest ride you can hope for on the roller coaster of craft brews. Not only did I get to enjoy the ride, I got to know two remarkable folks who display a depth that never ceases to amaze me. Enjoy this truly fun hour!
