Easter Sunday is the occasion on which Christians honour the resurrection of Christ. Believers worldwide come together to celebrate God's goodness and love. The significance of this day is acknowledged with profound reverence and joy. Jesus is alive, and his victory is celebrated daily in various ways. With gratitude, we reflect on our shared faith experience in recognising Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

The "Jesus is..." series discusses the theological view that Jesus provides forgiveness for sins and acceptance before God through his sacrifice and death. This belief may not berecognised or experienced by everyone. According to Biblical teaching and theology, forgiveness and love are available, but acceptance and a conscious decision to receive Christ's forgiveness are required.

Many of the arguments or controversies surrounding Christ is centred on three views. Either Jesus was a lunatic, a liar, or He is Lord. In this series, we will focus on "Jesus is…" we will present some of the thinking obstacles and challenges people get stuck on each week leading up to Easter. But the reality is, there is no denying Jesus was unusual. He was not the average person. Yes, he was fully human, and there is no mistaking that evidence. However, the question arises of whether Jesus was fully divine as he claimed. Yes, he was, and Is. Eyewitnesses, communities and townships were turned upside down because of Jesus. Homes were restored, the dead rose to life, marriages healed, and families reunited because of Jesus. People gave their lives to follow Jesus and even died for Jesus. No one dies for a lie. That’s wild.

Breakthrough. What a tremendous series of invitations and promises we have discovered throughout the scriptures concerning God's heart and nature towards a breakthrough. Which all in all carries the heart of the good news of the Gospel. There will always be a moment or situation for an intervention on our behalf; whatever that looks like may be different. But God will be as He promised, with you. Jesus will never leave you. Every breakthrough leads us to a saving, loving, merciful, gracious, benevolent breakthrough God revealed in Christ Jesus. Can you identify a breakthrough that most represents your need? Can you name the breakthrough you need right now? Now, in prayer, name and commit that breakthrough to Jesus.

Jesus is confirming his next mission, the Father's house. Jesusis preparing a place for those who trust him. In this message, Peter Bennet shares the importance of the Father's house—a message to remind us of and challenge us not to miss the obvious. Heaven is a real destination. Salvation is real. Deathis real. Preparing for the father's house is not some escapism nor a ticket out of dough (hell). Here, though, is the challenge; it is possible to go to church and be immersed in the life of the church but not fully accept or know Christ Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Maybe it is time.

There will come a time when you and I will be asked to question our lives before God. God desires that we break through in any area that holds us back. For some, they get it. For others, it takes a while to recognise that something needs to change. Gideon is one such person who is living in troubling times; the enemy seems to be everywhere, and even his family and community have abandoned God.  Friends, individually and corporately, we can lose our way. God called Gideon to get back on track and dealwith those inconsistencies and compromised areas. Breakthrough is promised for all those with uncompromised convictions, heart and courage. Friend, you are called to follow hard after God and serve no other gods.

The Downward Spiral and the Prophetic Climb. Ps Cam begins to unpack for us the importance of noticing the things that start to become normal for us that should not be normal. The gods of the time or age, the distractions of idol worship. It was a time when it was choosing your idol of choice. But then we do, we must also understand the cost that comes with such actions. When we disregard God's ways for us, not only do we pay the price, but so do the children and entire generations that are to come after us become a downward spiral. On the other hand, when our values become essential to us, we will see a change. A change of good and God embarking on our journey to see the transformation, new life and the next generation rising amongst us is God's best for us.
