David unpacks the parable of the talents from Matthewchapter 25. In this message, we learn that God teaches us to value what has been given to us, most of all, the kingdom presented by Jesus. The obstacles and distractions can easily lead us away from the main purpose of discipleship.The message is clear: live fully devoted and surrendered lives unto Jesus. Allow Him to lead, guide, and speak to you as you bear fruit in all your doing.

It is hard to imagine sometimes what people have to walkthrough in life: pain, heartache and sometimes the purest of evil and hatred. Today, Hannah's life reveals and teaches us how to deal with the blockages, and hold on to the promise, even in great distress, sadness and grief. Friends, our breakthrough focus is to encourage you not to lose hope. To not drift away from all that God is calling you into. Take Hannah's life as an example. In relational breakthrough -Unburden your heart- Seek spiritual renewal – and Do something as you take action and wait for the promise, friends.

Life is full-on, and there is always something to do and somewhere to be. Some things are unavailable. But know this. In this series of breakthroughs, we have looked at some key bible individuals who have shown us the lessons we needto practice seeing what God seeks to do in us and through us. Naaman, a commander of the Syrian army, was one such person. He had position and power plus opportunity, but one thing was missing. His healing. He had leprosy. By course of events, the Bible informs us, like Naaman, that we too may have areas or blockages to our breakthrough (whatever we define that to be). Identify these blockages. They are there, and they are real. Has God told you to do something...but you haven't done it yet? So, the question is, what is God asking you to do?

Breakthrough week three: The Life of Joseph. We consider the subject of breakthrough, the root meaning to break through into someone, out of something and something into pieces. It reminds us that the Bible is a book about breaking through sin, controlling habits and anything that seeks to hold us back or limit our full potential in Christ because of Christ. Joseph's life lesson is that life is a breakthrough journey. Every step, every situation, every decision can lead us closer to what this breakthrough we need becomes. Who knows, maybe what you are walking through right now is a breakthrough moment.

It doesn’t take long to realise reading the bible at its heart is a breakthrough message. God has called people to become followers and not be limited or drained by unnecessary matters of the world. Jacob stole the blessing and waited for over twenty years, discovering what the blessing was not. He carried a spiritual blessing while the practical blessing awaited an appointed time.

The star of Bethlehem pointed people to Jesus, drew attention to Jesus, and helped people find Jesus. This was a magnificent display of God's beauty and maternal nature. The star was a visual sign that God allowed to draw people closer. The star wasn’t just a bright star, as many think of it. It was a celestial phenomenon; it was a divine sign pointing to the arrival of the Saviour. Matthew 2:10 (NLT) captures this beautifully: "When they saw the star, they were filled with joy." The star witnessed God's favour and determination to highlight the most extraordinary act, or rather, the gift of Christ, who was given to all of humanity.
