As Rose plans for her best friend Alyssa’s internet wedding, on the other side of the world Ryo has to help his own close friends, as the reality of the pandemic hits home with tragic consequences.

Rose and Ryo both reflect on their first video chat and realise that, even with half a planet between them, this could still be the start of something special.

Despite initial interruptions from Ryo’s friends Kenji and Hiromi, his video chat with Rose goes well - especially when it turns into something more, via some cool backgrounds and a virtual waltz.

Overcoming the time difference, Rose and Ryo connect via the internet and learn more about each other’s lives, which leads to the two of them setting up a video chat.
