“Ang ginagawa ko sa Holy Mass, para akong bentilador, para akong electric fan na nag swi-swing. ‘Uy, may maganda doon. Uy, may maganda doon. Uy, may maganda doon. Uy.’ So may targeting ‘yong aking mata. Kaya minsan nakasalamin ako para makita ‘yong mga chix. And I did not want to, I just really want to focus on the Eucharist pero wala eh. And then I was just really feeling bad. And then the Jesuit priest said, ‘JPaul, you are young. And mukha kang maraming passion na bata, mukhang gigil kang human being. So, did you know that prayer is not only contemplative. The contemplative side of the Catholic faith is beautiful but maybe masiyado ka pang bata or wala ka pa d’yan. So what I want you to do is when you serve, serve with all your heart. So pag may activity ‘yong Church o ‘yong community, pag nagpulot ka ng basura, treat it as if you’re praying to God. When you welcome people, treat it as you’re praying to God. So everything you do, diba very Jesuit na, it is your prayer to God.’ So that slowly moved me, that slowly transformed my heart to falling in love with God.”

“But anyway, I wanted to comment on what Jay said and affirmed what JPaul is saying, because as a Protestant myself, not now, hindi po ako Protestant ngayon. As a former anti-Catholic Protestant, I really agree that these are the things that I didn’t see. And grabe, ‘nong sinabi ni Jay ‘yong Al Habayith, ‘nong na realize ko ‘yong Gebirah when I converted. Talagang ‘yong reaction ko parang—‘Oh my gosh. It’s making sense now.’ Na parang, ‘Kaya pala may Santo Papa.’ Mamaya, makikita natin when you read the book of Isaiah 22, makikita mo na ‘yong ‘Al Habayith’, siya ‘yong ‘prime minister,’ siya ‘yong administrador ng lahat ng mga pag-aari at ng buong kaharian habang wala ‘yong hari at ang tawag sa kanya is para siyang magiging ama ng kaharian, kaya ‘Papa.’ So doon pala nanggaling ‘yong ‘Santo Papa’. And, grabe guys, when I realized these things, I said: ‘It’s important for all Catholics to know the old testament.”
