Variety returns for the Unboxing Life boys! Trev unpacks his incredibly eventful recent trip to New York City. Tattoos and whether or not the guys are on board with them is discussed, as well as love for ramen. Overwatch 2 is brought up and the guys discuss their love for it, as well as what it’ll take for them to get excited about the new game. Trev dumps on Super Mario Sunshine, they talk new upcoming titles like Farcry 6 and Dying Light 2, and they end with Marvel’s The Eternals and their way of producing trailers.

The (halfway) finale to the monumental anime, Attack on Titan, is here for the Unboxing Life boys! Kicking things off this episode is a discussion of the opening animation and music with comparisons to its predecessors. The guys give a full breakdown of this first half of the final season of the show and give closing thoughts on the entirety of the show thus far. Look ahead towards winter 2022 when the boys are able to officially conclude this show for Anime Box!

A somewhat short but absolutely sweet review of an immaculate R&B EP, Giveon’s “Take Time”! Y’all already know the vibes for Music Box. We broke down the tracklist, the instrumentation, lyrical themes and all that jazz!

The guys kick off this week’s variety box episode with David reading some hilariously awful Laffy Taffy jokes. If that isn’t the indicator for a great episode, what is?! Trev briefly discusses his newest milestone in his streaming adventure with his new setup. The boys take a stroll down Nostalgia Lane with talks of screen peeking in local multiplayer games like Goldeneye and Halo, and how they’ve grown into mature gamers that don’t spend inordinate amounts of time in the starting area. A shorter season in the monumental series of Attack on Titan doesn't exactly equate to a less significant one, as the boys unpack season 2 of the show this episode! As per usual with anime box episodes, the guys discuss the season opening animation and the accompanying music towards the front of the episode. A full digestion (pun absolutely intended) of the plot-line follows, with the guys essentially unpacking every inch of the season's 12 episodes. They rate the season and Trev looks ahead to the grim future on the horizon of the show as they prepare to cover season 3. Spoilers absolutely ahead!

Trev briefly talks about his streaming journey, they recount their recent success with Demon Slayer, and the boys cap it off with a self-aware discussion of white privilege. The boys decide to tackle one of the most impactful and monumental electronica groups of all time with Daft Punk’s basically classic album, Random Access Memories! Being David’s first ever album, he holds this one close to his heart and doesn’t take no crap from the rest of the cast’s uncultured music tastes. They give a background of its commercial performance and cultural relevance, and as always, a deep dive of every track and how they felt about it as a whole.

IT’S FINALLY HERE! Demon Slayer The Movie: Mugen Train has pulled into our nearest station and the boys flock to the closest showing to review it for your listening pleasure. Alex & Trev tell a funny story about how they end up seeing the dubbed version of the movie, a sub vs dub rant ensues, the plot is fully digested with favorite movements gushed about, and the guys rate the movie with some footnotes on the coming season this summer.
