Is there a conflict between operational efficiency and safety? Often times companies just want to get the job done, but is it always the safest route?

Patrick and Guest-host, Barton Scott, had a chance to talk with Aaron Burton – President of Unconventional Oil and Gas Training, at Brio Tuscan Grill in City Centre about how he is educating the industry on different completion types and techniques to ensure safety.

“If you can use a completion type that helps you save time and gets you off location quicker, then that can be a big factor” says UOG Training’s  President, Aaron Burton. “The other aspect of that is that depending on your completion type too, you can reduce the amount of space it requires on location, so if you don’t have to have as much hydraulic horsepower, you don’t have to build as big of pad, things like that, that’s also things to consider.”
