Undrafted Rookie

This is our Week 15 preview show. Well, most of it. The only time we had to record this week was Monday afternoon so there is no discussion of either of the Monday night games because they hadn't happened yet. Though they have happened now. Call it the magic of show business (please call it that.)

Another chaotic week in the NFL with huge wins for both the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles. And huge losses for the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks. Did we also see the MVP race wrapped up? I'm not sure.

Highlights from week 14 of the NFL season - headlined by a history making performance by Josh Allen.

This week we talk about a late window that saw the NFC West turned upside down, with Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua combining to overturn the much-fancied Buffalo Bills. We also talk about the Detroit Lions' gritty win over the Green Bay Packers and ponder whether or not the bad vibes surrounding the 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles is actually anything to be concerned about. I'm concerned though, don't know about you.

WE ARE NO LONGER ON TWITTER (because it's horrible)

A big day in Undrafted-Rookie-land as John uses a soundboard for the first time. It doesn't really feature much but it felt like a big deal at the time. Perhaps the start of a new era.

Football-wise we were once again treated to a delightful week of NFL action where the Kansas City Chiefs survive yet again (annoying we know), the Philadelphia Eagles continue to impress, and the San Francisco 49ers get dusted in the Buffalo snow.

This is the week 12 edition of Undrafted Rookie, all about the 12th week of the NFL season.

We're talking about a snow storm in Cleveland, a history-making performance from Saquon Barkley, and Baker Mayfield's "tribute" to Tommy DeVito.

Lots of fun and some facts. What more could you want?

Week 11 of the NFL season is here already and we are also here like it or not.

We're talking about how the Chargers finally stop doing Chargers-type things this week by beating the Bengals, the Kansas City Chiefs finally lose for the first time this season, and look forward to the big Harbaugh-bowl coming up on Monday Night Football.

NFL Season 2024. Week 10.

Another top quality week of football and high drama to discuss.

Field Goal drama? Check. Two point conversion drama? You bet. Officiating drama? Of course.

Somehow the Kansas City Chiefs remain undefeated, somehow Ja'Marr Chase puts in an all-time performance and still loses, and somehow Jake Moody can still be a hero after missing three field goals.

All this and more on this week's episode.

Week 9 of the NFL season is here and it's lovely.

The New York Jets seem to be back from the dead on halloween, the Titans managed to get themselves out of poll position for the number 1 overall pick, and the Kansas City Chiefs are inevitable.

Also this week was the week of the extraordinary play: Drake Maye's 15 second TD pass, Garrett Wilson's insane one-handed touchdown catch, and Saquon Barkley's reverse hurdle. Sign me up.

Our recording cuts out halfway through this week, not sure why.

So we have complete chats about the Thursday Night Football game which saw the Vikings fall to the LA Rams, and DeAndre Hopkins trade to Kansas City, but there is no recorded evidence of anything involving Jayden Daniels' famous Hail Mary, Lions' demolition of the Titans, the Ravens loss to the Browns, San Francisco beating their oldest rivals. Nothing. Nada.

A shorter episode this week because our MVP contributor is unavailable, so you're stuck with me (John).

Still, a great week of NFL action with plenty to discuss (is it still a discussion if it's just one person spouting gibberish into a microphone?).

Jared Goff played an almost-perfect game to send his impressive Detroit Lions top of the NFC North (the best division in the league), New Orleans Saints were embarrassed by the returning Sean Payton, and the Jaguars got a much-needed win at Wembley to keep their season alive.

Big news week in the NFL this week with both Davante Adams and Amari Cooper being traded to the AFC East.

We also saw another impressive slate of games, including the Detroit Lions really finding their groove against the Dallas Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers getting a good road win against Seattle. But most importantly John goes on a pilgrimage to London to see watch the Chicago Bears put on a clinic against the Jaguars.
