Undrafted Rookie

Our post-Thanksgiving episode reviewing week 13 of NFL football.

We talk...

• Denver Broncos narrowly escaping from SNF with a win over the Washington Commanders
• A thanksgiving triple-header that saw the Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens all lose.
• How did AFC South become so interesting all of a sudden

Recorded on Thanksgiving, the NFL's favourite holiday, we're talking...

• Dallas Cowboys' comeback against the Philadelphia Eagles
• How the Houston Texans defense made defensive football fun again
• Why the Kansas City Chiefs matchup against the Dallas Cowboys could be the most-viewed regular season game of all time.
• Also Paul tells everyone what he had for breakfast and John goes to answer the door.

Released slightly later than usual (sorry). Also, John refuses to go on the internet during this one so has very limited resource.

Other than that it's another episode of the highest quality.

We're talking...

• Denver Broncos' statement win over rival Kansas City Chiefs
• The Los Angeles Rams being the best team in football (arguably)
• We review some of John's pre-season predictions and expose him for the fraud that he truly must be
• and then Paul's phone malfunctions and we end it

The NFL trade deadline passed ages ago but we hadn't mentioned it yet so we spoke about it this week.

We also declare which of the struggling teams are officially cooked...

• Are the Tennessee Titans cooked? yeah, obviously
• Are the Cincinnati Bengals cooked? maybe.. but Joe Burrow is just around the corner
• Are the Minnesota Vikings cooked? I think so... they're 4th place in their division
• etc.

Week 9 of the NFL season is done, and we are here to talk about some of it.

Specifically,

• How the NFC North has compressed with surprising losses for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.
• The AFC North seems to be coming alive with impressive wins by both the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers.
• Buffalo Bills beat their rival Kansas City Chiefs in the regular season once again.
• Cincinnati Bengals manage to clutch defeat from the jaws of victory against the Chicago Bears.

This is our Week 8 episode. Looking back at Week 8 of the NFL season, but also a bit looking back on the whole season.

This week we discuss...

• Los Angeles Chargers' dominant win over the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football.
• How the New York Jets managed to get their first win of the season over the Cincinnati Bengals.
• How did the Indianapolis Colts quietly become the best team in football?
• Other stuff probably

This is our episode for Week 7 of the NFL season and I remembered to click record from the start this time - what a joy.

We're talking...

• Jalen Hurts' perfect passer rating against Minnesota Vikings.
• San Francisco 49ers complete performance on Sunday Night Football against Atlanta Falcons.
• Detroit Lions with a convincing win over NFC rivals Tamps Bay Buccaneers.
• Don't mention the Jags.

John forgot to hit 'record' this week and he's not very happy about it. So instead of a full-length lovely episode, we have this weird shortened version which only includes a small subset of things we wanted to talk about.

We do cover a bit of...

• The emergence of New York Giants' rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo.
• Season-ending injury to Fred Warner - a huge blow to the 49ers.
• Looking forward to Rams against Jaguars at Wembley (in London, in England)

A break to our scheduled programming this week because Paul and I both forgot we were going on holiday (whoops). So instead of a week 5 review, we're chatting through our fantasy draft from this season.

We talk...

• Strategy of when to take your TE or QB in Fantasy football.
• Taking big swings on rookies in the late rounds of the draft
• Is it ever okay to take a Dallas Cowboys player?
• Other stuff

NFL season, week 4 review. All the usual fun of the fair.

We're talking:

• Adonai Mitchell's costly fumble for the Colts against the Rams.
• Eagles' half-impressive display against the Bucs, including a fake tush-push.
• 49ers mounting injury woes which continue to get worse week on week.
• Bengals' capitulation and the pressure that mounts on head coach Zac Taylor.
• Probably other stuff
