We finally made it to Lager Heaven aka Denver's Bierstadt Lagerhaus! Co-founders Ashleigh Carter and Bill Eye joined the show to talk about the business of making lager. Oh, and special guest David Lin of Comrade Brewing stopped by as well. 

Sam (and his kids) head to Brooklyn to meet up with revered beer writer, Joshua M. Bernstein. Over some kombucha, a black IPA, and an amazing grilled cheese, Josh opens up about his career and offers an amazing perspective on craft beer in America. 

We had the honor of sitting down to talk craft beer with Jonathan "Colorado Beer Man" Shikes, revered journalist and expert on beer made in Colorado. Jonathan spins some yarn, telling us about the roles graduate school at Northwestern and home brewing played in getting him back to Denver to cover the industry for Westword. 

We sat down with George Goodman and Reno Wilson, founder and head brewer, respectively, at BURLY Brewing Company in Castle Rock, Colorado.
