Melissa Wiggins: Welcome to Coaching and a Cup of Tea with Mummabear. I am so very excited for this episode, I have one of my amazeballs clients and friend, and I cannot wait for you to hear all the fire that she is about to deliver for the next 30 minutes. Please help me welcoming Stephanie Bowman. Stephanie, who the heck are you? Why are you on this podcast?
Stephanie Bowman:
First, I want to say thank you. Thank you. Thank you, what an honor to be here with you today. So my name is Stephanie Bowman, and I'm the founder of One Heart For Women And Children. I'm also a life coach, I am a speaker, and I am a lover of humans.
Melissa Wiggins:
You really are a lover of humans, and Stephanie is loved beyond measure in the community that both her and I live in, which is Central Florida and Orlando. And we have known each other for a very long time, and we were friends before we had our coaching relationship.
But the reason I wanted to bring Stephanie on today, was I really want to have people who listen in, to figure out, "Is coaching for me?" And I think often, we think that if you have all your ducks in a row, and things together, you don't need a life coach, or you don't need a business coach, or why would you need a group program? And Stephanie, I feel like is an amazing example, within my six month coaching program, Empowered Life, of why would you invest more into yourself? Why would you join a six month coaching program? And so, I thought it would be really fun to hear from someone who's been on the front cover of magazines, and on television, and speaks in different countries. And I have chills, she's just a phenomenal human being. And so, why Stephanie, would you join a program called Empowered Life?
Stephanie Bowman: One of the things my grandfather said to me, when I was a super young child. He said, "Remember something, Stephanie, you will always at different times be the student, and always at different times, be the teacher, and knowing when that time for each is appropriate." So for myself, being a life coach and coaching others, I think it's really, really important that I too have a life coach, just like in Alcoholic Anonymous, I'm 23 years, clean and sober. So part of that was also always having, we call them sponsors, which they're mentors in the 12 Step Program.
