Rom-coms romanticise avoidance, mixed signals, silent treatment, and emotional immaturity and then sell it to us as passion and love.

But romance in the real world doesn't work like that.

Real love requires you to take responsibility for your inner world, learning accountability, repair, and emotional leadership.

One path keeps you stuck, waiting to be chased, or emotionally “chosen.” The other matures you, and that maturity unlocks barakah, and a depth of romance no scripted movie could ever touch.
